LowPro 15/10 Trench Covers are essential to cover open trenches and excavations and prevent accidents at construction sites or public areas. As part of a modular system, these covers can be connected to span large areas. After connecting multiple covers, place the infill strips between them to create a smooth, continuous surface that enhances safety and accessibility for pedestrians, vehicles, bicycles, wheelchairs, and strollers.
Excavations in high-traffic areas require proper coverage to prevent accidents. LowPro® 15/10 Trench Covers are built to withstand heavy pedestrian and vehicle traffic and can be connected side-by-side to cover large areas. Adding infills between each cover creates a smooth, continuous surface by filling the recesses. This prevents foot traffic and wheels from catching in the gaps between panels and dislodging them.
For narrow trenches, lay the LowPro® 15/10 Trench Covers in landscape orientation, aligning the shorter side of each cover. Use the Short Infill strips to create a seamless surface. For wider trenches, place the covers in portrait orientation and use the Long Infills strips.
The LowPro® 15/10 system includes trench covers, infill strips, and ramps. Using all these components together ensures secure and seamless trench coverage. This setup creates a smooth surface with a gentle gradient, making it safer for vehicles, pedestrians, and wheelchair users.
